Who is the Exceptional Abilities Cheer & Dance Team?

Exceptional Abilities training is a program specially designed for athletes with a disability. Our program has been part of the Phoenix Family since our doors opened. We have dedicated staff who have experience working with people with disabilities. Our coaches are supportive and understanding and want to provide challenging routines for our athletes who are members of our EA teams.

Funding

Eligible athletes can pay their term fees through NDIS. Our club has experience with NDIS funding processes and is happy to work on this with you.

Competitive Teams

At Phoenix, we believe in providing the same high standard for EA team training as we do our mainstream teams. Our EA teams will compete at 6 state competitions and Nationals. Choreography will be completed in-house. This makes it easier if adjustments need to be made throughout the season. We build a relationship and understand the abilities of each of our athletes and this enables us to choreograph a routine that will highlight their strengths. In 2023 we will be offering: Cheer, Pom & Hip Hop.
